The Runway: Madam Wokie at Bahamas Fashion Week

Hi everyone. As you may already know on Saturday 28 October, I debuted my 2017 Nyapue Collection at the inaugural Bahamas Fashion Week, in Nassau, Bahamas.
The collection featured fourteen couture pieces which were designed and produced in Sierra Leone. The collection is dedicated to the Mende Women of Southern Sierra Leone; especially Madam Wokie Massaquoi, who is the inspiration behind the brand.  Below are the unofficial photographs from the runway, taken by my personal photographer   Hiram Carey.
