Our favourite looks from the MTV VMA's Red Carpet

While the MTV VMA red carpet looks were not as inspiring as previous years and more stars turned up in misses rather than hits, here are our favourite looks from the evening. Best dressed definitely has to goes to Taylor Swift who looked gorgeous in her vintage Hollywood glamour ensemble.

Taylor Swift looked gorgeous in her plunging navy blue gown and curled blonde hair.... that dress is hugging her in all the right places 

Had Ciara not word the same Givenchy couture gown Beyonce wore to the 2012 Met Ball (all be it in a different colour) this would have been my pick for Best Dresses. Anyhow she still looked amazing so she gets a Hi 5 from me 

Selena Gomez looked stunning in a navy blue embellished floor length dress complete with cut out bustier, check out those legs... werk it girl! 

Jennifer Hudson looked fabulous in this Christian Dior ensemble. The look featured a houndstooth corset and a pencil skirt with a folded embellishment at the waist

Katy Perry wore a leopard print dress embellished with dragonflies

Allison Williams sported a Valentino mini dress... simple yet chic

Ciara waked the red carpet with her beau thang Future, you have to admit they look good together 

Robin Thicke looked smart in a dark suit and tie while  Paula Patton who wore a black strapless gown featuring a high slit

Glee star Naya Rivera  looked stunning in a floor length black long sleeved dress alongside Big Sean
