Adirée Talent & Management Group: Spotlight on Madam Wokie
This is what Adirée had to say about Madam Wokie...
"Madam Wokie’s Couture started in 2009 when designer Mary Ann Kai Kai began to make beautiful African-wear exclusively for local Sierra Leoneans. The line grew quickly and has already produced two different ready to wear lines. The lines include everything from handbags, jewelry, beaded slippers, and fashion for both men and women. She produces unique, and stylish pieces which are also very affordable and quickly became known to many in Sierra Leone. Her show at AFWNY featured a lot of stripes and color and had a quirky, fun, feminine feel. Now that she has showcased her fashion at Africa Fashion Week New York we are sure her name is going to be on the mouths of many of fashion’s big wigs and there will be even more growth for Madam Wokie’s Couture."
