Snapshots: Reception held in honor of the visit by United States Second Lady, Jill Biden, to Sierra Leone

On Sunday Dr. Jill Biden, wife of the US Vice-President, Joe Biden visited Sierra Leone on her final stop on a three-country visit to Africa. The aim of her visit was to highlight the importance of girls’ education and women’s participation in government, the economy, and civil society in accelerating economic development, improving health and educational outcomes, strengthening democratic governance, and fostering peace and security.

 On Sunday, a reception was held by Sierra Leone's Second Lady, Mrs Khadija Sam Sumana, as part of Sierra Leone’s recognition of the significance of this visit. It was a pleasure to interact with so many beautiful  ladies and share ideas on fashion, politics  and much more.
