Aschobi Business

This post is basically a preview to tomorrows post, which is about weddings and ASHOBIS. 

For those that don't know, an Ashobi is a fabric chosen by the bride for her family and friends to wear to her wedding; usually at the reception or dinner. Personally, this is my favorite aspect of any wedding because its a chance for everyone to show of their personal style in fabulous African print. Although the wedding took place in London, it should come as no surprise that Musu and I sent out fabrics all the way to Sierra Leone for sewing. We couldn't wait to see what the Madam Wokie tailors would come up with and we definitely weren't disappointing when they worked their magic. Here are a few pics of us fabric shopping, to say we were confused.com in that shop would be an understatement... there were just too man beautiful fabrics to choose from
